Here are three visual online noise meters that might be useful in monitoring the sound level in your classroom:
- Bouncy Balls – the noise level is displayed by colorful, bouncing balls
- Calmness Counter – the noise level is displayed through a dial meter
- Too Noisy – another site that uses a dial meter to display the noise level
All three tools require a digital microphone plugged into the computer.
