Academic Skill Builders is a site that offers a variety of arcade-style games designed to strengthen students’ academic skills. The games are designed for students in grades 1-6, and center around math, language arts, geography and typing. Some of the games are single-user games, but some are designed for more than one player to play at the same time. Students can set up these multi-user games on their own, and share the login name with others in their class. I would recommend that students use the random-generated login names that the site provides. Students can also play against unknown users, but at no time are they required to give out any personal information.
