Free Resources for Educational Excellence (FREE)

Free Resources for Educational Excellence (FREE) is a website created for teachers by the Department of Education.  FREE contains over 1,500 K-12 resources related to the arts, language arts, math, physical education, science and social studies.  All the resources come from dozens of federal agencies, including the Department of Education, The Department of Health and Human Services, Fish and Wildlife Service, Department of Interior, Library of Congress, National Gallery of Art, Peace Corps, and others.  While the resources are categorized by subject area, they are not categorized by grade level, which might make the site cumbersome to use.  But the number of quality videos, lesson plans, historical texts, etc. make the site worth visiting.
