Chronicling America is joint venture between the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Library of Congress. The Chronicling America website offers viewers access to over 10 million digitized newspapers printed between 1836 and 1922. (Copyright laws prevent them from archiving more current newspapers.) The Library of Congress created this helpful video with ideas for using these materials with students in a variety of subject areas.
