Simon Sinek: How great leaders inspire action is a TED talk that I found inspiring. In this presentation, Sinek talks about how communicating with data and information to communicate doesn’t usually inspire people. His theory is that good leaders start with the question “Why?”. Sinek makes his point using examples from Apple, Martin Luther King, Jr. and the Wright Brothers. While this talk was probably targeting the business world, I think that educators can also benefit from what Sinek has to say. (18:05)
