Beyond the Book Report: Ways to Respond to Literature Using New York Times Models is actually a post in the New York Times “The Learning Post” column, which I’ve mentioned previously in my blog. I felt this post deserves special recognition as it offers interesting suggestions for the classic assignment, the book report. I thought the suggestions were more authentic than the book reports that I had to do when I was in school, and many of the suggestions also promote higher level thinking.
